Happy Chinese New Year!

Year of the Dog

Happy Chinese New Year!

After our biggest December and January on record, and Chinese New Year around the corner we’re preparing for our busiest one yet!

Christchurch Airport are forecasting Chinese arrivals for the month of February to be up by 6000 passengers which is a growth of 50% compared to February 2017. With FIT travellers making up 36% of the total number of China arrivals there’s never been a better time to ensure your multilingual collateral is readily available.

We still have a few spaces in our popular air side locations in Auckland & Christchurch airports, as well as a dedicated multilingual section in Queenstown Arrivals so please don’t hesitate to contact us to get those Chinese brochures on display for one of the busiest times of the year.

Having Chinese collateral on display year round is more important than ever and we can help your product talk to domestics and internationals alike. More than 90% of Chinese New Zealanders took at least one domestic holiday trip in the past 12 months, spending approximately $315 million, according to a Feb 2018 survey prepared by Trace Research NZ.

On a personal note the year of the dog is full of energy and 2018 offers plentiful opportunities for business and to be sociable. With that in mind we are aiming for our biggest target yet; to distribute 11 million tourism brochures into market within 12 months!
