Winter is in full swing and with snow on the hills and a chill in the air we don’t have too much to complain about!
The last few months have flown by, and we thought we’d take this opportunity to update you on some of the exciting things we’ve been up to at VisitorPoint.
Effective from Monday August 13, AA Travel & Tourism will outsource the warehousing, distribution and merchandising of its market-leading AA Traveller brochures, guides and directories to VisitorPoint. The contract is a result of a thorough review by AA Travel and Tourism, and will secure significant cost savings and productivity improvements for their business.
Delighted to add AA’s full contract warehouse services to our company portfolio, Systems Manager Kelly Harland says it’s an exciting time for the team. “The agreement is an extension of our long-standing relationship with AA Travel & Tourism, and we’re excited to see it flourish,” she says.
Eileen Philpot now joins the VisitorPoint team as National Distribution Assistant, bringing her expertise and knowledge gained over 10 years at AA Travel & Tourism, which will provide continuity of service and support to outlets stocking AA guides.

May saw our first attendance to TRENZ where we launched our new client reporting products and enjoyed some fantastic meetings with new operators and existing clients.
After listening to our clients about the need for data, we’ve made significant investment into development of our warehousing and distribution systems to create a one-stop-shop for operators’ print collateral management needs.
Operators using our warehousing services can now access live reporting to review existing distribution contracts and costs, and monitor national stock holding at the click of a mouse.
Most importantly, they can track activity through our network of merchandised circuits as well as warehouse dispatches to trade.

In June we were proud to be a festival sponsor for the award winning LUMA, a celebration of arts and culture.
The festival surpassed all expectations, bringing in over 50,000 visitors over Queen’s Birthday weekend. We’re already excited for LUMA 2019!

We kicked off the festival with some of our local clients at the Ngai Tahu Tourism Winter Festival Business Lunch at Skyline Queenstown, followed by an amazing display at Real Journeys Friday Night Fireworks and bulk laughs at the Winter Festival Comedy Night.
National Outlet Manager Stacey has just returned from Hamilton where she attended the HAPNZ annual conference. Along with our Systems Manager Kelly, she was stoked to connect with many of our valuable outlets and operators.
